We were going to play Xena: Warrior Princess here, but my wrist was feeling fatigued, so it was discussed and agreed upon that I should play a quick, light game that would notch another completion, but also not be taxing on my wrist. I settled upon Sesame Street: Elmo’s Letter Adventure.
The best thing I can say about this is that it was light on the wrist. Everything else is a dumpster fire. Visually off, mechanically odd, nothing worked here. As edutainment, I feel like I grew dumber playing this. What did it teach me? Basically, you have a few “mini-games”, where you’re in a vehicle or something like that, moving forward, grabbing the letter you’re supposed to grab. Absolutely nothing about this was informative, or entertaining.
I can’t complain too much though. It was a break from fighting games and lots of d-pad presses, even though the game was a miserable failure at everything it was trying to be.
