A carefree and meticulous playthrough of Starfield, focused more on exploration and wonder and not rushing through anything. We’ll be trying to chart our course through the stars to make every attempt to visit as many colonized, or even barren, planets in the universe, and explore them as thoroughly as we can! We will also have a timer going as well, to see just how long it takes us to either explore as much of the universe as we wish, or go mad trying to do so and complete the main story and be done with it (likely the former and not the latter). Oh, can’t forget the death counter!

This has been a release I’ve been long anticipating, and one I’ve really felt dead set on streaming my entire journey through this insanely humongous game world. When it came to streaming in general, my main hangups had to do with feeling pressured that I had to stream all the time (that and between April and September it’s way too hot for me to properly stream, oh and Spectrum internet is the anus of ISP’s). Since this is something I’ve wanted to play on Twitch, it relieves any kind of pressure that I have to stream all the time, because I really just want to for this game. Who knows…maybe this will get me to stream once again in a somewhat consistent manner beyond Starfield (wishful thinking, but you never know…).

Come along on this journey through what might be Bethesda’s magnum opus, or massive fail! I will be playing it on PC in glorious 60fps, unless I am having troubles streaming and playing on the same rig (I shouldn’t for how much I paid for this!), then we’ll move over to the Xbox Series X. The festivities begin August 31st at 10-10:30pm EDT (I am busy when it launches at 8pm EDT, if that changes I’ll post it on Twitter/X), and will continue well into the night, and knowing me, into the day!

If all goes well, if I’m not boiling from the inside out and Spectrum isn’t repeatedly being a POS, if this cough doesn’t cripple me, we’ll be streaming a plethora of new releases throughout the rest of the year, either as full completions, or just messing around (MythForce is something I definitely want to mess around with). I want to take this cautiously regardless however. I don’t want to over-promise and under-deliver. Let’s hope the stars align with this Starfield playthrough, and all of the obstacles I may have in my way, are tossed to the side.
